शिक्षा:  पी.-एच.डी.,  राष्ट्रीय संग्रहालय संस्थान कला इतिहास, एवं संग्रहालय विज्ञान, नई दिल्ली 
बी.एफ.ए  तथा  एम. एफ. ए - ललित कला संकाय, महाराजा सयाजीराव विश्वविद्यालय, बड़ोदा 
  
कार्यक्षेत्र : पिछले दो दशकों से अमेरिका में कला और साहित्य सृजन में  कार्यरत व्  नियमित रूप से  कला दीर्घाओं और म्यूजियम की कला
प्रदर्शनियों में  भागीदारी। पहला काव्य संग्रह 'कच्चा रंग' २०१८ में प्रकाशित हुआ। 
कला संस्था 'इनरआई' की संस्थापक व डॉयरेक्टर  के तौर पर  लगातार पिछले आठ वर्षों से कला प्रदर्शनी और साहित्यिक कार्यक्रमों का
आयोजन व संचालन । अनेक कला संगोष्ठियों में विभिन्न विषयों पर शोध प्रस्तुति व प्रकाशन।  
सैन रमोन शहर के कला एडवाइजरी बोर्ड में छह  साल और विगत नौ वर्षों से सैन फ्रांसिस्को के "एशियन अमेरिकन वीमेन आर्ट्स
असोसिएशन; की बोर्ड सदस्य हैं।  कैलीफोर्निया  कॉलेज ऑफ द आर्ट्स में प्राध्यापक हैं।

Inner Eye Arts cordially invites you to the book launch of
"Koltar ke Paer" the second poetry collection by Pallavi Sharma.

Panel discussion with authors, scholars Dr. Anita Kapoor, Pranjali Sirasav, and Shailaja Dixit moderated by Namrita Yuhanna well know writer, Creative Head, and Bolly 92.3fm Host and Social Entrepreneur!

Panel Discussion will be followed by a colloborative Performance work by Pallavi Sharma, Shailaja Dixit and Sonal Sanghvi based on a poem from the book. 


​पल्लवी शर्मा के दूसरे कविता संग्रह "कोलतार के पैर" के लोकार्पण समारोह में आप सभी सदर आमंत्रित हैं!

हमारे लिए ये बड़े हर्ष का विषय है कि इस समारोह का संचालन  बौली  92.3 fm होस्ट,लेखक और सोशल इंटरप्रेन्योर नम्रिता यूहन्ना  करेंगी! इस अवसर पर प्रांजलि सिरासव, डॉ. अनीता कपूर , शैलजा दीक्षित सहित अन्य विशिष्ट  विद्वान, व् लेखक 'कोलतार के पैर" की परिचर्चा  में भाग लेंगे. 

कविता- पाठ के साथ "कोलतार के पैर" की एक कविता "रक्तबीज' पे आधारित  पल्लवी, शैलजा दीक्षित (रंगकर्मी , संगीतकार और एक्टविस्ट) और सोनल संघवी (नृत्यांगना व् शिक्षक) का  कलबोरेटिव परफॉरमेंस भी होगा!

Pallavi Sharma 

Pallavi is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and independent curator. She is part of the Advisory board of the Asian American Women Artists Association (AAWAA) and founder and director of the nonprofit organization ‘Inner Eye Arts.’ Pallavi has been part
of the Art Advisory Committee of the City of San Ramon for several terms and held leadership positions. She has exhibited her works in many solos, and group shows in national and international exhibitions since 2000.
Her socially-engaged art practice addresses migration and the notions of memory, marginalization, patriarchy, and misogyny. Her practice and research interests concern
Asian American women's cultural production and activism.
Pallavi received her BFA and MFA from the Faculty of Fine Arts Baroda and her Ph.D. in Art History from the National Museum Institute of History of Art, Museology, and Conservation, New Delhi, India. She presently teaches at California College of the Arts,
San Francisco.

Namrita Yuhanna

Namrita Yuhanna is a Producer , Creative Head and  Radio host of Dil ki Awaaz and Off the cuff with namrita on Bolly 92.3FM. She published Bolti Tanhaiyan, a collection of Hindi and Urdu poetry recently. 
Namrita is also the Owner of LOVEKARI.com, an online accessories store keeping artisans in India  at the heart of its business. 
Her poems have been published in literary magazines here and she also participates in local Bay Area Kavi Samelans(Poetry meets )


She has written a couple of columns for an online news portal American Kahani and also does charity work and volunteering for the elderly.


 Dr. Anita Kapoor

​Dr. Anita Kapoor works as a Astrologer/Vaastu/Tarot Reader
She is a Poet & Writer/ Editor/ Social Activist and promoting Hindi in USA.
Dr. Kapoor has a M.A. (Hindi, English, Music (Sitar), PhD. (English),
Diploma (undergraduate degree) in Journalism. 
She is a  established writer in Hindi and English and regularly published in
various magazines and newspaper around the world.
Dr. Anita Kapoor is awarded and honored for her contribution towards Community, Social-work and Literature, from India/ UK/ Canada/ Dubai/ Nepal and America.

She has participated in numerous poetry reciting events in India, America, Canada, London, Nepal,
Singapore.

Dr. pranjali Sirasao

​Dr. Pranjali Sirasao has been associated  with  research and teaching  of South Asian studies  at University of California Davis, University of California Berkeley , and Stanford University. She has been part of linguistics projects at Google and Apple. She is founder/President of Akhil Vishwa Hindi Jyoti, California, and co-organizer of poetry group Kavya connection, San Francisco. She is a board member in nonprofit organization, Ethnic Arts Foundation and has provided translation and text for their publication Mithila Reverie: Meditations on the Devanagari Script by French Artist Martin LeCoz. She volunteers for Sankara Eye Foundation and  also hosts a weekly radio show called Chai Time at Stanford University which explores South Asian literature, culture, and music. Currently, she is working on  Madhubani art  from Bihar, India and  Kabir singer Padmashri  Prahlad Singh Tapaniya.

Shailaja Dixit

Sonal Sanghvi

Shailaja Dixit wears many labels with pride. She is a feminist, a grassroots activist, a first-generation, immigrant woman of color, a survivor, a writer, a singer and a podcast host. Shailaja works as a domestic violence counselor and is committed to challenging systemic cycles of violence. She loves solitary long walks and chocolate.

Sonal Sanghvi, Artistic Director, Choreographer and Founder of Nupoor Dances began teaching & choreographing in the US in 1997. This Gujarati girl’s roots are in classical bharatnatyam and has spread her passion of Folk & Bollywood Fusion across Bay Area. Sonal’s unique dance style and choreography fuses a diverse repertoire including Indian classical styles, Bhangra, Lavani, Raas and other Folk dances. Her mission is to grow the unique fusion styles and techniques within the diverse Bay Area and cultivate the next generation of dancers.
